Credits are the units used to access conversion services on Cardscanner.co. One credit is consumed for each conversion, scan, page, or image processed, depending on the tool and plan you are using. For example, if you convert a PDF file with 5 pages, one credit is used per page, resulting in a total of 5 credits.

Are any tools using shared credits?
Yes. Cardscanner.co has shared credits for similar tools like Image to Text and PNG to Text use the same credits, and JPG to Excel and PNG to Excel also share credits. This simply means you don't need to buy separate credits for each tool in these groups.

How do shared credits work?
Shared credits work in a very simple way, any file you convert from the tools inside the same group will use the same credit balance. You don't have to switch anything, the system automatically deducts a credit from the correct shared group when you upload a file.

What happens if I run out of credits before the expiration date?
If you run out of credits before your plan expires, you can purchase the same plan again. Your subscription end date will be revised accordingly, so you won't lose any remaining time from your current plan.
